My Recent Real Estate Transaction with Shaun Walding was once again great.

Throughout it all, he was more than just professional. He really cared about what we were going through and did everything possible to make the experience as painless as possible.

He went above and beyond with contractor referrals that saved us a lot. The suggested sale price was spot on. It created a bidding war and we sold for much higher than listed. He visited while the appraiser valuated the old home and made a big difference in the value. He was very patient with us while we looked at a lot of prospective homes. The specialized web page he gave us to use was pretty useful. He pointed out things in the prospective homes that would be a resale issue. He knew the neighborhoods in East Dallas (for us it was Old Lake Highlands) very well. He knows about green building, specifically energy efficiency measures, water sense certified irrigation and plumbing fixtures, healthy materials and general indoor air quality measures. Shaun is a fun guy to be around.

Shaun, helped me navigate the sale of my mother’s home remotely from across the county.
He was level headed and pragmatic. He was realistic about price-setting based on traffic and feedback. He pushed for the best price put didn’t overplay our hand. His experience was evident. His 1.5% rate on her modest low $3000k home was almost too good to be true. Maybe you need a more white glove/higher price service to help manage the property during the sale. Maybe you need a different agent if you want them to communicate directly with the title company and hold you hand through that paperwork. However if you want a competent, straight shooting, no frills rep, to navigate the sale and closing process, Shaun is your guy. I couldn’t be happier with the choice. Side note, Clever Title was terrible. I don’t know if Shaun picked them. Once chosen, I was in direct communication with them rather than communicating through Shaun (he was copied). I don’t know if my experience with them was typical, but both communication and follow through were terrible. February 2025 was a slow market, but they seemed overwhelmed. I would absolutely advocate to avoid them.
